ROUTE to the NEW "TAJOGAITE" VOLCANO
Walking route along the Cabeza de Vaca trail to the vicinity of the craternew volcano of La Palma, accompanied by aOfficial guide which will interpret the new landscape created during the eruption and reveal the keys to the volcanism of the island of La Palma.
The service includes:
-Transportfrom the meeting point at the El Paso Tourism Office to the beginning of the route (round trip).
-Official Tourism Guide with authorization from the local Administration.
-Sureof accidents.
There issurveillance and security service in the exclusion zone in charge of the Cabildo of La Palma.
trail of 5.5 kilometers of round trip, which runs through sand and picon (lapilli) soil. It takes just over 2 hours to walk, and 3.5 hours for the entire activity. There are sections with a certain unevenness that when returning become somewhat heavy, but not difficult.
The routeis not suitable for people with reduced mobility or walking difficulties. It is also not advisable for children under 7 years of age.

- Wear hiking shoes and clothing adapted to the current weather conditions.
- Water, cap or hat.
- Weather conditions can be changeable on an island like La Palma. The guide will assess these conditions and will be responsible for making the appropriate decisions. Please remember that this is a guided hiking activity and sometimes visibility may be affected by unexpected cloud cover.
